Default breaking in gx-12 engine

Hi how do you break in and tune a kyosho gx-12 engine? also im looking to upgrade the engine next year, what would be a good upgrade.

do you have the alpha pure ten?

the best way to break it in is either with the heatcycle method or by idling through about 5 tanks.

Unless you're after a paperweight, use the heat cycle method. Idling doesn't do anything and is very bad for an engine.

Try doing a search. The author would be by fuelman read what he has to say as he has a ton of knowledge about things like this. There is a good bit of reading to do though so be prepared for that.
