What kind of Buggy is this??
hey guys, I stumbled across this buggy from a friend of mine. He stated he traded for it on this website and the original owner told him it was #2 in its class in texas this year. I've never seen a buggy quite like this one. So long story short, what kind of buggy do you think this is? [:-]

hmm the chassis is stange, most 1/8th scale nitro buggies have a single deck chassis with braces but this one has 2 decks. It looks like a duratrax buggy, they usually have cheaper looking plastic and aluminum than companies like mugen or ofna which make amazing buggies. But it honestly doesn't matter if it has good quality parts or not as long as it doesn't break and you have fun!

If the owner does not know what brand it is I would stay far away from it as he giving nothing more then a sales pitch. Might be OK for bashing but a racer it is not. Looks to me like one of the clones I have seen on ebay and wonder how easy parts would be to get for it!

This thing isnt even on here & wont be any time soon. Its going to ebay once we figure out what it is. I posted a picture of the bottom. The plastic is actually a chassis extension .

I miss under stood some of what you where saying sorry. If you are talking about the plastic extensions on the sides this is normal for a buggy and is called rock guards. Is there any markings on the engine? Looks like to me it might be 1/10 scale. I would get in touch with who ever he got if from but I assure you it is not a high-end contemporary buggy and hope he is not expecting on getting much for it. I sure hope you have better luck with ebay then I have in the past year. I use to sell quite a bid on there but now on used stuff unless you want to give it away it does not bring much. Good Luck.

Its no big deal . it is a 1/10 for sure. The engine just has a 15 stamped on the side . Im not too concerned sales performance on ebay, I run my business primarily through there .
