Default PHOENIX Valley area-LISTEN UP!

I need some input. I have decided that the Valley needs a Premier Off-Road track for nitro cars and trucks. I moved here 4 months ago from the east coast and I am dissapointed by the selection of tracks in the valley. Hobby Action closed, SRS does not have any 1/8 sclae classes, and Nitro Nutz is nice, but in the 4 months I have been here, there hasn't been 1 race.

The name of the track will be CamelBack RC Hobby and Raceway. There will be a fully stocked hobby shop. The track will be built for 1/8 scale racing with 8 foot wide lanes, but will race all offroad classes, electric and gas.

I need to know if there are enough people in the valley to support the track. We are looking to locate to the Hwy 60/I-17 area. That way its central for everyone.

I also need to know for what vehicles to stock parts for. Right now i have a list for all Kyosho MP7.5 Inferno's, MP777 Inferno's, Inferno ST-R, Losi 8, Ofna Hypers, Jammin Trucks, Losi and Associated 1/10 gas and electric trucks and electric 1/10 buggies, Revo's.

If anyone knows of a small building with some land for a track for lease, please let me know.

Let me know what you guys and gals think, and I will make it happen.

Wish somebody would come up north.....no tracks here ...except in my back yard (for 1/18th scale)...only places to run the our RC10's is in the open desert (red lake)

But will bring the kids and their trucks down sometime and have to check out your track out once your set up

that sounds like a great idea

i live in las vegas and i feel ya, you would think since we live in the damn desert people would be popping more tracks up.

we hav elike 2 or 3 tracks, one good one at silverbowl park

but its limited

i cant complain at least we have something, im for one not in the postion to finance a track

yeah, tracks arent normally very successful around here. the airfields seem to be most popular.
