OFNA Dominator/Pirate 3 shoe clutch ?????
So I recently got this Dominator truck, took it all apart, got it cleaned up, lubed and loctited where ever necessary. Finally fired it up and engine idles smoothly.
The truck wont move until carb is at 1/3 openning, at 1/2 it moves slowly, and at WOT it will go fast - but not really fast.
So I checked everything again, the drivetrain is free from any bindings, brake setup is also good.. The only thing I noticed is that each clutch shoe have its own spring. And when I tried to open them with my fingers to simulate engaging, it is difficult. I have to use a screw driver to open them.
Can I just remove the springs like on my stock rc10gt? Or are there replacement springs that are ligher or softer so clutch would engage earlier?
