I get similar emails all the time on a 1935 Harley I am trying to sell and what I do is tell them to email me there phone number and I will call them. Never hear back from them. If you get any email from a person with a free email account concerning a transaction beware and never give them any banking information!

Ya, agent [sm=75_75.gif]/dude that shows up at your house to pick up stuff with a phony check with !QUOT!their clients!QUOT! name on it. I usually just don't respond to emails with numerous spelling mistakes, same with ebay listings - if they cant spell than I want nothing to do with them.

i have got these emails before as well. usually they want to send you a M.O. for some rediculous amount, $1200 for a $100 item.

you cash the check and they get their money then when the bank figures it's a fraud check YOU owe all the money to the bank.

46u, trying to get their personnal info is a good little turn around on them.

Sure does. Just the way its worded. Like the "client" is going through a lawyer. Must be the overpay scam.

What do you think? Send them the item before they pay?

I had someone do this to me on ebay. I paid through paypal. After a month or more of negotiation they sent a very broken item. They claimed the item broke in the mail, and if I sent it back they would reimburse me. HA. I insisted I see the money before I sent it back and they should send me a drop shipment so I wouldn't have to pay and immediately filed a complaint withy paypal and my credit card company. I got the last laugh, paypal/visa got my money back - they were out the broken item. They never sent the drop box they were supposed to in order to have me send the item back.
