Best RTR car for under $100
Hey guys.. I'm usually over in the plane area, but I'm knoledgable enough in cars to know that you really can't get a "GOOD" one for under $250... but I'm helping a co-worker shop for her kid. What would you guys say is the best car (on road or off) for under $100.. The best I have found on a cursory search is the Traxxas Bandit available at tower for $119.99 and I've got a $20.00 off coupon she can use. Any others I should look at?

also look at the XTM X-Cellerator... its a good truck, better than the bandit IMO...
Hobby people was selling them for $99 RTR and i think they went up to $129 now... but they are a mix of the associated t3 and t4... not a bad truck really..

Wow.. Even at $130 that still looks like a heck of a truck. Adjustable aluminum shocks, adjustable slipper plate. Adjustable camber, ride height, and wheelbase... that's pretty nice right there.

I think the xtm x-cellerator would be the best pick up for that price range. I mean some radio shack, k-mart and wal-mart rc's cost more then that. That would probably be the best pick up for him.

For on road, I suggest the Tamiya TT01 for $119.99 at Hobby people.
For off road, I agree with the XTM X-cellerator, but for $10.00 more you can get a Tamiya Dark Impact if you/he prefer a buggy.
You could probably get them lower somewhere else.
