Default Truck / Car stand on a budget (pics)

I recently realized that I had enough scrap PVC pieces laying around to build a stand. I would imagine that you could build this for under $10 if you bought the pieces new. It is very sturdy and holds up to full acceleration. Feel free to shamelessly use my design for your own build. Just thought someone might get some mileage out of this.

Nice stand. I personally just use a old starter box battery or somtimes when I'm hard up I'll use a brick. but I will admit that yours weights a lot less then mine and looks a lot better off to.

Hi,

Looks good![8D] Many available car stands won't fit MT's with tires on. I use high density foams for my buggy.

Regards

Joaquim

That was the main reason that I built this one. I like the Duratrax stands but the tires still touched the ground (kinda defeats the purpose).

now thats pretty sweet...

i use a tire as a stand...i know someone else on here used an extra tire and drilled a hole in the rim so he could use it as a shock holder.
