RE: WHICH TRUGGY??????
I'd go with the Muggy, most places have if for under $500 (you need to check cost once it's in your cart (advertising laws say it can't be advertised below a certain price)) and it's getting great reviews from the Losi crowd. LST2 bashability and already there are upgrades to help turn it into a racer. The prototype placed well in whatever race it is i'm thinking about.
And...................... It's HUGE

EDIT : Here ya go bud, http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/7410 Click on the add to cart button, it falls to $489. Am sure you'll be able to work from there, else if you have $475, you only need another $14. I'd be selling a kidney

Yes, it is considered a truggy, a sport level truggy. If you are racing at state level ROAR races I would think you might want to go with one of the kits or wait for the 8ight T.

RE: WHICH TRUGGY??????
Not really. You'll end up spending hundreds of dollars just to get it to the same level as the ST-R kit. It's so much different, and you are better off waiting till you have the funds for the ST-R, or get a Muggy.
While a Muggy may not be as good on the track as, say the 8ight T, it will do you just fine, and will do you well until you are like the Professional drivers, who have the funds to drive those expensive rides.
