From: Orlando, FL,
Hey guys, I'm looking for a pipe for my HPI SS, and have ran into a minor problem.
The SS exhaust is on the left side of the car (This is if you look at the car head on) compared to most cars being on the right. I'm having a hard time finding pipes that work this way (becuase the exhaust return is in the wrong spot....)
I knowticed the T-Maxx is this way, and have found a few pipes for the .15 t-maxx engine that might work(Like the dynamite) but they seem to be more torque, instead of all around performance.
Anyone know of any pipes that are:
a. for left seide exhause..
b. you tap yourself
c. have the exhaust return on the opposite side of the stinger, instead of on the top or bottom of the pipe.
Thanks...

You could get a CVEC Pipe, but they do not follow ROAR specifications. You drill your own hole, and it is quite easy. They have dual tips and are great all around. They are also tunable, not just tuned. You can choose between 4 settings. One extreme being most fuel consumtuous (how ever you spell it), and the other being raw power. I have one on my RS4 3. I like it alot.

Well in the sort time since my last post.. I changed my mind... I'm going to go with the Team Associated NTC3 RPM tuned pipe. It's about 30$ cheaper, and looks like it'll work well.
If it doesn't work, I'll put it on ebay...

Yea, I also was looking at that pipe before I got the CVEC. It looks like it will be good. Dont forget though, the RPM is for higher end power, and the torque tuned pipe is for more lower end power.
