RC10GT RTR--- Hey have any of you had trouble with rechargeable igniter's?
I've been having a lot of trouble starting my car for the last few days. While searching for the problem tonight I found that my Igniter wasn't maintaining good contact after locking it onto the plug!
It is the Thunder Tiger Red Glo-Starter. I think it's become defective somehow. What I finally figured out is when I lock it onto the plug the spring loaded center part binds up in the tube like the spring is too weak or some thing is binding, and there is not a reliable cercuit. When I let go of the igniter the plug quits glowing.
Wish I'd have figured it out before I developed these nasty open wounds from pulling the starter so many times

I had a problem with my GT RTR ignitier too. I'd tug on the pull starter a couple times and it would fall off. I wanted an igniter that used a standard C cell anyways, just incase I forgot to charge the Nicad one, so I went and paid the 7 bucks. Haven't used the one that came in the kit since.
