Hi,

First of all, welcome to RCU!

Starting with electric is a good choice. Nitro involves many other factors which is hard for newbies and even for most r/c hobbyist. The TT-01 is a good choice, easy to build and maintain.

Regards

Joaquim

As hands with out shows has said there not bad cars but most of the people who buy them use them as drifters. But for a person who's new to the hobby it's not a bad car and can be upgraded later on when needed. They can be made into great drifter's but not sure about them on other platforms of racing though.
But I hope you and your son have a great time and welcome to RCU.

As was said "Welcome to RCU".

Just remember in case you did not read about it that will be for on-road only, as in it will not run in grass at all and lots of people DON'T want to run in grass. It is a good car to start with and see if the interest stays also there are lots of hop-ups for it as well. Good Luck

Thanks

Thanks Guys. What do you mean that its an "OK" car, as far as a racer? We wont be racing others on a track just playing around on the concrete. Do ya'll have any other sugestions in the 150 - 200 range?
