I once took a radio shack car and gutted it. I then slaped in a novak esc and an 11 turn orion motor but could not get a good steering servo but it was proportional (to radio shacks specs at least) was kinda choopy compared to our higher end servoe's but still worked and that thing ran great for a little while. Unfortunately this was before we bought a digital camera and never took any pics of it, I ended up launching it off of a ramp and snapping some parts on it and ended up just taking everything that I put in it out and throwing it away.

But I will tell you I dont think I ever saw a radio shack car move so fast. It was prolly going about 20 25mph when I had it with a good pack on it.
