Default Best Place to Buy

All-in-all considering, where's the best place on-line to buy a Traxxas Sport for my son?

My LHS has one for $239.

Your local hobby shop is very competitive regarding the price. I'd give them your business (you might be able to find one $5-$10 cheaper online) because they will remember you when you go there for advice regarding tuning/option parts/problems/etc. A few bucks to help support a local hobby shop for when you need a replacement arm or tires is always a good thing.

o wow thats a great price i wish my LHS would do that good of job pricing.(**** my LHS in an hour away and the old guy there is horrible) he made me pay 280 for my sport and for a first time nitro its a grat choice...as far as your lhs go for it they will help u alot in times of need and if u buy from them they will hook you up later...also onlike u might find it for 5 to 10 bucks cheaper but u have to pay for shiping...the only thing that sucks is tax i hate it but its what u have to pay to live in this wonderful country...

Mines, a train ride for 40 mins, then 30 min walk, support it because they can always help, not like if youbuy online, also you will gain a some respect (of a kind) and they will be nicer, thanif you say youve bought it online

We do not have a train to run and I am sure you are aware of the price of gas. I will not drive 100 miles just to find out they do not have the part I need. But what ever works is what it is all about.

I've got 3 good r/c hobby shops 60 miles away. All are competitive with prices for obvious reasons. I always call ahead to see if they have what I need, it not they get it within 3 days. While I admit I've bought some deals online I try to support the LHS. They are what keeps the hobby going and thriving. If they go out of business how would anyone get good advice, be able to compare shop, etc.

And you folks thought South Dakota was in the middle of nowhere....

remeber your also gonna have to pay for shipping if you get it off the wbe, so unless your hobby shop is alot more expensive (well not really alot) but if its $20 more then on the web, get it off the web, if your only gonna save like 5 bucks then just buy it from them.

On another note i cant belive how far away your LHS is. IVe got about 8-9 LHS within 10 miles of my home. the one i normally go to is a 5-25 min car drive (yes thats how bad traffic can get in Miami, BECUASE NOBODY KNOW HOW TO DRIVE!!!!!!!). but whatever, i shouldnt be complaing.
