lookin for 1st car under 250
well christmas is around the corner and im thinkin about getting an rc truck. Im probly gonna get it off ebay because there cheaper and somtimes come with hop-up parts. Im not sure which one to get, ive been looking at hpi rush evos,mt2's,rustlers,and some used revos. Ill mostly be driving it on the street, dirt and grass. I would like to keep the price under 250 for everthing. thanks

ive not had good results buying rc cars off ebay.. if you have a rc track check it out and see if someone will sell you something that way you can see it run etc.. but for around 250 you pretty much have to get a stadium truck if new.. for 300 you could get a hyper7 ofna 1/8 scale buggy from nitrohouse.com its an awesome deal...

I've never had a problem on ebay myself. first you need to find out what your LHS carries parts for. When I lived in OKC I had an HPI rs4 that was hard to get parts for. everybody else drove tc3s and xxx-s

Nitro Sport is a very good beginner truck, it's easy to get parts for and it's durable. It was my first Nitro and I think it was the best choice. But if you are looking for a bit more speed got with the rustler, it'll go 50,[X(]. and I would stay away from 4 wheel drive trucks for a first one, they can sometimes be a pita with the diffs.
