Default Overly efficient cooling head?

I bought a Nova RC cooling head for a RS4 3 18ss. It says it provides up to a 40% temperature reduction. Now with this cooling head I could lean out the engine some and be within the safe temperature range, but would I be damaging the engine due to a lack of lubrication instead?

Just curious.

you will still need to have a smoke trail even if its running cooler, lubrication is better that temprature as long as your not over 270-280
