If it's trying to move forward and your not touching the throttle, it's the idle. Turn it down to where it still stays on, but won't move forward.

I really don't know. I just turned it to the right (clockwise) and it went down a little. So on my t-maxx, it went down. Might not be the same on all engines.

Jerking at idle is a charicteristic of T-Maxxas and a symptom of high idle. It will probably always jerk some on takeoff whatever you do.
There is a mod to fix it but it requires opening the transmission and making some mods to the forward/reverse clutches. Here's a link.

That will let you keep reverse but if you don't care about reverse then you can do a FOC and that will get rid of the jerking too.

IF CHANGING THE NEEDLES DOES NOT HELP IT TRY ADJUSTING THE TWO KNOBS THAT ARE ON YOUR RADIO (IF YOU HAVE THE TQ THAT COMES WITH IT). THE THROTTLE TRIM SHOULD HELP THAT IF THE NEEDLES DO NOT.
