Default Winter Cleaning and Work.

Well Well Well. it Seems Old Man Winter Finally decided to show up last night. got 5 inches and its flurring out a bit today. so in the last 24 hrs. i went thru my Bergonzoni Brave. had a motor issue, and instead of buying parts, i found a motor here in the states, new and ready to go. so i grabbed it up like a crackhead with 5.00 in my hand, and spent the time to clean it all up, check everything out, and do general maintenance and set up.

stats

Bergonzoni Brave - upgraded to some of the compitition pieces.
Boss 23cc Motor - new and unrun. Boss Motors are the 1st known RC type Reed Case Motor. they are only made in 23cc to comform to the standard raceing rules.
4 wheel disc brakes - cable.
Porche Style Front and Rear Wheels - rear wheels are wider than front like on a 1:1 Porche 911T
Multiplex Jumbo on Steering
Hitec 615MG on Thrt/Rear Brake
Hitec 645mg on Front Brake
Spektrum DX3 for control

I need to get a new Air Filter for it. i m thinking a TGN UFO filter with an Outwears over top. its dusty/dirty here in Michigan.
i also need to secure the rear body mount holder, and pick up a few new Body Posts and Side Body mounting Buttons. any ideas where to get these lil things at?

i d like to take it out to race a few times this coming year. anything going on in onroads in Michigan or surrounding areas?
more for fun than anything.
anyways heres some pix

Porche 911 Turbo Body with Porche Style Wheels ( rear are wider than fronts)

as Soon as we have decent weather again i ll be taking it to the parkinglot of the local soccar complex. about 800-900 Ft of Smooth Flat New Black Top so i ll be able to give it a proper Run in. Boss Motors are recommened to run at 50:1. but i think i ll be breaking in on 32:1 and running 40:1 with this new motor. but i ll need to get some new tires for sure.

the 1st one i ran at 40:1 no problems. now i just need a new piston and ring, and i ll have a 2nd one to do SOMETHING with. Maybe a snotted out racing Baja.

Im thinking about getting a Bergonzoni F1 this summer if i can afford it. the None Compitition Version.
anyone else have a Berg? post up Pix. lets see em.

That looks like his car. Hey Timmah did you change your name to 'SBGasser'? Are you in the 'Forum Relocation Program'?
