Default Oops. A few questions

OOPS!! I have this car: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...p?&I=LXMGP9&P= and yesterday, I had it sitting (parked) in a front lawn. The sprinklers just then kicked on and hosed my touring car! I immediately ran to the car and saw it had shut off completely by itself. I took it inside and dried it completely and waited a day. Today, I power on the car and it works. The car does sometimes have hic-cups when driving, if I hold down the trigger the car will go, then slow down a little, and then continues to keep going when my finger is still squeezing the trigger... Is this really bad? What would I need to replace (if anything)? Car works though....glad I had the body on it!

Question #2: Whats a good NiMh battery maker? I have a Venom 3000 now. I'm looking for a racing battery.
Question #3: How/ can I put a "lift kit" on my old school TC3 stadium truck? I want it to do this: http://www.hpiracing.com/hpisighting...elyking004.jpg

Are you planning on racing? what kind of charger do you have? how much are you willing to spend? Batteries can be as inexpensive or as expensive as you want. Race packs can start at 50 and go way up.

I do play on racing in the future (rite now I am "practicing"). Ill spend $60 on a battery pack at the most for now. I have this charger:

Do I need to replace anything in the future because of the water damage from yesterday? Also, what about my off-road T3 truck? Know anything about those?

well I'd just stick with your ESC for now. If it craps out later than you can just replace it, unless the slowing down thing is really bugging you. As for the T3 you should mount the shocks in the position that gives the highest ride height, you should install some preload spacers, Also installing larger diameter tires would give you some more ground clearance. If all that doesn't help enough, you could always install larger shocks, so long as they still fit, in other words don't try to mount savage or LST shocks, maybe something like maxx shocks.

Thats a good charger and will serve you well. keep practicing, but go race. experiance is the great teacher. that and at a race you don't have to run over to your car when you crash. for racing these will be some good packs.

Also, do you have deans plugs? if not, get them.

you can do better for racing. Those would be good warm packs, or for the first or second heat. I'd get something more like this: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLYY6&P=7

I have one of these and the power is great in my BL setup! They are also pre-assembled which most sxs packs aren't. If you want a warm up pack that has a little more capacity and you can get it from tower go with this pack: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLWR4&P=7
