My car bodies :P Speed/ not sure, but atleast 50
Im sure you can tell which one i like the most. I wanted to style the rx after road race cars. there is a bit more detail then what can be seen. The nsx (blue) is one of the "everyday" bodies I've got. umm the supra body kind of pissed me off because i had is painted perfect and then use this window tint S*** ( same brand as the paint ) AND IT ATE AWAY AT THE PAINT! So after buying some "paint thiner" (same brand as the paint) it didnt do jack to get off the paint, so now the paint looks like crap and its now become a $50 body that i hate. should of just got a yokomo drift body for the cost >=(

haha, anybody know a cop that can scan our speed? that would be sick. i once saw this video, and these guys were racing in a parking lot and the cop was such a sick cop, he was scanning there speed and seeing who went the fastest... (if anybody knows this video tell me, theres like linkin park and jay-z music in background, i used to have in on comp but lost it :S) that would b sick... but would never happen here in toronto, fukin twisted pigsss. i know u can get that thing that goes on ur car 2 know what ur top speed is. but like u put it on, then go. but then 2 see it u gotta take off ur body then just see ur top speed, lmao, not worth it in my opinion... but meh..

There tamiya's bodies so they may be a bit off, honestly i like 190 on a 200mm chassis better, just because 200mm bodies seem to fit a bit wider then the chassis, and if you drill a hole 1/8 inch off, you can tell, but with 190 is a bit more forgiving.
And about those links, These are a bit more rare skyline and slivia bodies. not everone is going to have these types of bodies as they would an hpi bodie (not saying theres anything wrong with hpi but everyone has there bodies) And its hard to find a skyline body without those stupid wing mounts on the back and to also have the stock skyline wing

yeah, it does sound good, and it does kinda soudn liek what this is here, but the only thing is if u mean a club as in meeting up that would be fukin amazing, but the only thing is im in canada and ur in states, lmao... so what club u tlakin about? be more specific... lol... pceeeee

Maybe something that goes more into 1/10 street cars, things like drifting, racing, mods, etc.. but focus more on hpi's.
I wanna put my own thoughts out there... I'm a Hpi fan and like there stuff (even Discontinued Kits) but for the rs4 3 types.. i dont like the way the have the D or "Drift" Conversion selling.
Like i said in some other forums here, i think they should sell the kit conversion in parts, this way u dont have to go and spend $170+ for a kit thats really just a new chassis, Rims/tires, 2 maybe 3 CF parts, hardware (nuts and bolts) and a exhaust. I rarely see people selling there rs4's with drft-con's on ebay. prolly after spending $300 on the kit + everything else to get it to run THEN another $170 on the drft-con.
I know you shouldn't expect to get half as much that u put into your car in terms of RESALE VALUE but still, i dont wanna see them discontinue that kit to, but just how many people are really buying that kit? Its cool but its just not worth the money.

yeah, i 100% agree, like its so rediculous, but im sure it took alot of thought and process and if i was hpi i would have done the same. sorry im taking business in school so i have a very business sense. but if i was hpi it makes perfect sense. think about it have ppl buy rs4 then buy a drift car.$$$$. or have ppl buy rs4 and parts.no $$$ 4 hpi... cuz its jsut parts.... where are u gunna make more money? and having a drift car enables them 2 open their doors 2 more customers rather then saying yeah we jstu sell fast cars, in order 2 drift u have 2 do this this this this... blah blah.. NO 2 drift u buy this car and youll have a heck of a time.. u wanna go fast u buy this car... u wanna do both spend more money on an engine or even a new car/chasis like the r40 or wtvr... think about it! i would love 2 c them have parts 2 make rs4 drifting rather then a chasis and all those other useless parts on the d conv chasis! but its common sense from their hpi (business) perspective!, so really there pretty smart. especially cuz drifting is becoming much more popular and some ppl just wanna drift, rather then rs4 and go fast, and if they do, then basically theres stuck in a whole like me and u, i jsut spent 400 on a car, plus all the other **** i've done on the side, now we gotta spend anoter 170 2 drift... but wtvr, im just gunna get cf upper deck and sum pvc or abs material 2 drift. i here its realllly tricky, but hey, if this hobby wasnt tricky, it wouldnt be fun, wihtout problems its 2 easy, just like life!

jsut wanna show u guys some awsome pics !!! not mine!! the first 2.. the white skyline and redsilve... there yokomo... jsut outstanding retail. let me point out the mirrors, exhaust, spoiler and outstanding body work... the 3rd pic is jsut from hpi, but i just like that color on the skyline with those black wheels!... just thouht i would share ...

I thought maybe we could come up with like a club name and I or we could design a logo or something cool, then when ever any of us race I could print up some decals to put on our cars and stuff.... Who know maybe even shirts,hats,and other items and who knows maybe even meetings in the future....LMK what you think...

Yea i was kinda thinking about the busness perspective on the d-conv but judging how hpi sell's there cars im not fully sure about the conv. (thinking about Hpi's firestorm) When i thought about how much all the parts are, then im sure it's somewhat of a value to buy it all at once other then parts alone.
-- sometimes i wonder just how much it cost to build a car from the ground up as apose to buying the same car/truck rtr or in a kit version. prolly cost more--
so it comes down to less people spending more or more people spending less. i'd guess someone who has the d-conv in mid goes to a hobby shop to check it out.. they might see something else (hopefully hpi) that they would want to buy. how many times have u went to go get one or two things and end up getting more then u had pland? I was also thinking that yokomo should sell the wings (off the bodies) from there drift cars. I mean i'd go buy a few wings for $7-10 bucks. I mean have you seen them? There freakin cool as hell.
Oh and on the club thing. i like the ideas so lets keep 'em coming
