Default Best bashin' buggy?

I need some help, ATM I have a Monster GT, and I'm going to share a buggy with my dad, and I'm wondering what the best RTR bashing Buggy is? Any advice would be much appreciated.

best straight basher 1/8 buggy, bang for the buck, is the XTM X-Terminator 2.

you get more with the higher end RTR buggies like the 8ight and Turmoil, but they're both at least $200 more than the X-term 2

OFNA buggies are great bang for the buck cars. Also, the robotronic protos has a low cost too. Check out nitrohouse.com for the ofna buggy deals

I must say Ofna too RC Driver magazine just did a review on the Ultra LX Comp rated it as such-performance:8 durability:7 support:9 ease of maintenance:8 overall satisfaction:9 I bought one last summer beat the living crap out of it, pretty tough machine all in all.And not to mention the hop ups and mods that have been done lots of fun. I am totally satisfied with what I got for my money.

If we're talking nitro, gotta go with the revo. It's the most durable buggy I know of, and the parts are easy to come by.

the Revo is NOT as tough as ANY 1/8 buggy ive ever seen. even the smartech and himoto/redcat buggies are tougher than the Revo

Metal...nobody has suggested a car that wasn't well-known. just because YOU haven't heard of them doesn't mean that they're not big names. Do some research. XTM is Global Hobbies' house brand, and Sportwerks is Horizon's house brand. Traxxas doesn't make a 1/8 buggy and neither does Associated right now.
