RE: truggy t&b servo
is the futaba 3010 servo any good its cheap got good amount of tourq and good amout of speed but no metal gears. do you relly need metal geras on a throttle servo? it not like it is pulling tires around or any thing or that amount of force being put on the servo

Don't need speed or torque (at least not in great amounts) for a throttle/brake servo. Anything with .16 transit or less and 75oz-in of torque or more will be fine, you could easily get such a servo for around $35 or maybe less. Don't fret over the throttle servo, it's nowhere near as important as the steering.
EDIT: Metal gears are preferable, but not important. When the nylon ones do eventually wear out, you can buy another set for very little. Or just buy another cheapo servo...you're right, they are not under any particular strain.
