Be prepared to spend more on a kit then a RTR, I'm building a Hellfire and have currently put $925 into it which is about $300 more then RTR and am about to spend another $200 or so.

I'ld buy a RTR because whether you break it or are just installing a hop-up at some point you will have your RTR all apart anyway.

You really don't have to spend more on a kit. Its just that most people do. Go kit, they are easy to build and a good way to learn the ins and outs of these cars.
