Hi guys and gals whatsup? I'm having a problem with a 2pseed transmission i bought. I have a nitro RS4 2 and its belt driven. I bought the transmission off ebay and the guy i bought it from said it works with botht the RS4 3 and the RS4 2. The only difference i seen with this transmission and the one only made for the RS4 2 is that the gear shaft is shorter on the on i have... Do you know if HPI sells the gear shaft seperate from the whole transmission kit or something. I'm really stumped and the guy hasnt returned my email yet if anyone out there can help me it would be gladly appreciated thank-you. If u need to know anymore just ask me.

ok i figured it out... see i bought this tranny for a rs4 3 right. but i own a rs4 2 the older model thats belt driven not shaft. So the guy says it will work with both. The only difference if u buy the one for my rs4 2 is the gear shaft is longer. So what i was asking is if i could use the shorter gear shaft on the tranny i got instead of the official one for my car. I have to buy the shaft i believe. If my car was a Rs4 3 then it would be ok but its not and its not shaft driven so ill ask the hobby shop by my house and prob get that part and then ill be rockin and rollin. That should be a better explanation for u there. Thank-you
