Can I use regular old spray paint to paint RC car bodies?

Lexan bodies? No because it'll flake off too easily. If you're referring to those ABS bodies that some Tamiya r/c's come with then yes.

Im talking about the body that comes with the Savage X SS, it doesnt really feel like lexan but i dont know.

That should be lexan use the paint for that and paint the inside

Go to the painting and detailing body section in the forums and just read some post in htere. There is a lot of good info on how to paint a body.

From experiance no. It will flex and flake off like others have said.

You need to look, the ones that say for pastic, or the hooby paint they sell there, i know my local ace sell hobby paint!

It has to be something like this or it will not last long at all. The bodies we run flex a lot so it has to be special paint.
