Default Helping a friend...

Im helping a friend get back into R/C's and hes looking to get some type of Nitro Offroad R/C.
So far I have looked at a used Aftershock/LST ($220), HotBodies Lightning Stadium 10 ($200), Used Maxx, Used Revo (If found cheap enough), Or a Used Truggy (Again, If found cheap enough) or... I hate to say it... a Himoto/Redcat, What do you think he should get with his $250?
98% of this vehicle's use will be Bashing... So it must be decently tough.
Hes unsure if he wants 4wd or 2wd so it doesn't matter... Just as long as its TOUGH and CHEAP. lol
Thanks, James

I got a Himoto recently and had a few things replaced already. Maybe it's just me.
