The most under supported car or truck
What do you think the most under supported car or truck is? That is, what vehicle (electric or nitro) deserves more support from aftermarket parts than it currently has?
I've been kicking around the idea of getting a small CNC machine and even possibly selling parts, and wanted to know what car would be good to support.

other than tower hobbies there is really not much support when it comes to hobby shops stocking parts for the duratrax products.. in my opinion duratrax are highly under rated, and are widely owned by people electric or nitro.

I never considered Duratrax cause I see so many parts in Tower. Like cheech4 said, though, there aren't many other places to find upgrades other than Tower.

I do not ever see any Kyosho parts in the stores. I see Mugen, Traxxas, HPI, Associated, and even X-ray filling the racks, but as far as Duratrax, Kyosho, Himoto, Smartech, and others, they virtually are never sold retail. You have to order directly from the distributer or buy on-line from E-bay or other RC places on-line.

Might not matter if the LHS was right next door... Something's up at LOSI/Horizon. Lots of parts for many vehicles are all on backorder. Its getting close to pissing me off![:@]

I just found this today. Imagine building 3 or 4 of these to pump out parts. You could even make it a 4 axis machine to reduce the number of operations needed to produce parts. I used to work at a place that had a 6 axis lathe that machine would do crazy complex parts in one op. If you wanted to be really industrious you could make a horizontal mill with a rotating tombstone.

I would have to say CEN, Kyosho. My LHS does not stock parts for either of those, which is kinda stinks cuz the CEN Mini Madness has so much potential...[&o]

RE: The most under supported car or truck
thunder tiger baby. I have amainhobbies.com and thats about it. I mean acehobby.com, thundertiger4u.com and ehobbies.com all have horrible websites and nothing but stock replacement parts. Amazingly amainhobbies.com has the absolute widest selection of parts in existence. I needed the roto start today and when I got home I sick to see it was on backorder. Somehow I managed to sift my way through the crap they call a website at thundertiger4u.com and find it in stock for a buck cheaper.....god is smiling on me! thunder Tiger bought Team Associated so Im hoping that will help but I have a feeling it wont. so anyway my vote is thunder tiger.
