Hello,

No not OS. Go for a Novarossi then much better in quality and much faster. If you don't got all the money take an .12 of rbproducts.com like the matrix.

Hope to help you

Greets.

This depends entirely on WHAT YOU WANT TO DO WITH THE CAR.

Do you want top speed?

Do you want ease of tuning?

Do you want your buddies to say "ooooooh"?

Do you want big smokey burnouts?

Do you want ridiculous power?

Do you want to get an economical engine?

Do you want an engine that will last a long time?

Answer all of these questions, understanding that most do not go hand-in-hand (EX: ease of tuning and high RPM are not coming from the same engine. Nor does a cheap, powerful engine exist....)

Once you indentify your goal, suggestions can be made.

Do you want top speed?
yes, but i can mess with the gears no?

Do you want ease of tuning?
yeah but if it has great performance ill learn how to tune the hard way

Do you want your buddies to say "ooooooh"?
well, thats the point of investing 200 300 in an engine

Do you want big smokey burnouts?
i dotn want to drift burnout or u mean the trail of smoke it leave? then i guess that means power? if so i guess yes?

Do you want ridiculous power?
not really that will only make me spend mad money of parts that will break...

Do you want to get an economical engine?
my budget is around 200 - 300

Do you want an engine that will last a long time?
that depends on how much it cost cuz im not gonna pay alot for an engine that will die in short time an average time after i used it enough then is ok if it dies

in resume what i want is speed and power to be able to race and leave my friends in the back or atleast get close to them

Given your responses and my knowledge of engines....

It sounds like you want something like a high performance, mid RPM, 3 port engine. The engines that will be the perfect balance of your responses above will likely be somethinf like a Picco or NovaRossi.
Those 2 companies have been in the industry for years, incicating a great deal of experience and ability to R&D on a practical level. They are italian, who by established reputation, have a tendency to construct performance machinery with extensive QA/QC. For this reason, I choose them over some of the newer companies. They are also builders for many other companies (OFNA, Trinity, etc.) meaning that many other brands are de-tuned versions of this brand.

Motors of the .15 size will give you great torque, allowing for gearing mods. (A .12 is more limited to lower gearing due to decreased torque). The .15 will not be drastically overpowered, and give a great balance of practical RPM and torque to get the car moving. Italian .15's usually rex higher than US .15's, giving you more top end speed.

A 3 port will be reasonable to tune. A 5 port may require tuning every time you run, may have 3 needles as opposed to 2, and will undoubtedly increase your frustration factor.

They definitely fullfill the "wow" factor.

A 3 port is not a full blown race motor, so it will have a respectable lifespan.

Recommended:

Picco XP series

Novarossi NS or LS series (LS, if you can find one is INSANE)
Look for something that will spin over 37,000 RPM
