xtreme buggy problem

xtreme buggy problem

I have an xtreme buggy and we tuned everything the way the book told me too. After a few minutes of driving, it will start to bog and eventually shut off. It wont start until it cools off. Could the motor be too hot because we dont have anything to measure the temp with?

Put a drop or 2 of water inside the heatsink right next to the glow plug,If the water boils off in 3-4 sec then you are ok, any faster it is too hot.Also make sure you have smoke coming out the engine at all rpm.[sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
