fuel not priming right
the back pressure line going to the exhaust isnt doing its job.
its a new gas tank and new fuel line.
when i try and prime it it doesnt seem to get the fuel past half way to the carb. if i blow lightly in the exhaust line it works.
i checked for leaks around the gas tank seal and around the carb but cant see any just.
any suggestions on why its not priming right?
tommorrow i might rebuild the bar just for the hell of it. aleast ill know how it looks in there.
should i order something (gaskets/o-rings- other parts) before i start?

Pack
Shouldn't be to hard to figure out...look over line and tank installation again...drain tank cap intake to carb use exhaust line blow in tank make sure it holds air...Tank walls will get hard...this will check both lines and tank for leaks quickly and effectively..

fuel not priming right
I just blow right into the stinger and watch the fuel go up the line to the carb. Sounds stupid, but it works well for me. And since I'm using airplane fuel, I've never gotten a drop in my mouth. Just a thought.

i checked the tank and line like you said burby ...thank filled up fine.
i cleaned out some gunk out of the stirnger pipe by filling it with some denat. alcoh. and shaking it back and fourth.it washed out some build up. ill try it again to see if it helps.
i got a question about fuel line.
is it your basic tubing? like the stuff used in aquariums?
http://www.petco.com/search/mercado_...ir+line+tubing
i mean they make a silicone, which from experience with it, is flexible enough to go anywhere and seems to be same quality. the other airline tubing is more rigid. what im asking is basically can you use this aquarium stuff instead of this hobby fuel line.
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...ne&FVPROFIL=++
see the difference in price?
50' of petco for $7.99
50' of tower hobbies for $28.99
anyone?

How big of fuel line are you guys using. I mean the diameter of the inner tunnel. Ive seen small and big. I guess it doesnt matter, just have to tune your engine accordingly.
