Default RE: exhaust troubles

Plastic exhausts can melt, and it can be due to the engine tune running the engine very hot. The HPI exhaust on my Nitro MT melted.

Default RE: exhaust troubles

I remember when the T-Maxx was first released, alot of them melted the baffle in the stock plastic pipe. I have never had anything do that. I have had some of the neoprene and silicon parts, crack and deteriorate from the heat of the exhaust. Plastic exhaust parts are ment to cut costs and keep the price of RTR's low as possible. It's best that they be replaced with aluminum parts after the engine is broken in.
