Hi I'm a new member here but I have an Evader ST (elecric) and a Mini-Baja. Both have had the problem of stopping dead for about 10 seconds, but the steering works and the motor doesn't do anything. It mostly happens in the last 10 minutes of the run. Any help is appreciated.

I'm using a DTX 4200 7 cell. It has less than 5 runs on it. I forgot to mention after it comes back after 10 seconds it's just as fast as normal.

And this happens in BOTH vehicles? Are you using the same battery in both?

No they have different batteries they're 2 different scales. The Mini-Baja came with an NiMh 1100 mAh from Losi and my Evader has a DTX 4200 7 cell NiMh, and The Evader has Deans.

I have a 21 tooth pinion and the stock spur and I don't know how many teeth it has. But I have been accelerating from a stop to really fast lately.

21 pinion on a evader tranny what tires are you running?, either way you are over gearing you are over heating the ESC and my suggestion is lower the pinion and get your self a temp gage.. there cheap 20 bucks gets you a decent duratrax temp gage. it should not be over 175. you can do the finger test too, if you can keep your finger on the ESC or motor for more than 5 seconds then the motors and ESC are running good and cool, if not your thermaling it.
