Default Unknown model please help

Hi,

If members have time and are willing could you please have a look at the photos of a model I bought - link below. The person I bought it from has no idea of what it was and was selling it as non running. The engine had a broken con rod when I bought it which I've now replaced and it runs OK. I need a bodyshell and some other bits hence the question. I had originally bought if for the RC gear.

Many thanks.

Steve.

I'm guessing here:

Judging from the look of stamped aluminum, the big teeth on the single-speed spur gear, the oversize tie-rod nuts, and the tires that look similar to Integy and HPI X-patterns.....

I'm going to say it's a Smartech/Himoto/Redcat style car. It does not appear to be one of the mainstream manufacturer's but one of the imports attempting to mimic a name brand.

Hi.

Thanks for the replies.

I think I'll just run it until it falls apart. Judging by what you've said I'll probably not be able to get the spares.

Steve.
