I have a stampede with a trinity co27 motor and a Cen CT5 that I would like to either race or just drive around a track. I am not willing to race the ct5 because I cannot drive it that good (because of how fast it is). What do I need to do to start racing. Where can I find tracks in NJ?

First check in the Regional Racer and Basher thread then you can try here.

If all you are going to do is club race find a track see what there classes and rules are. If you want to get serious about racing save up all the money you can and be ready to travel at least 500 or so hundred miles.

Go to your hobby shop and they might tell you about races and tracks. Just dont buy anything that you dont know about and the hobby shop says is good.
