Well about a month ago i bought and installed a new engine in a truggy, every thing was going well its been run in properly and has been tuned (but i think thats the problem). When ever it reaches a fast speed and throtle has been down for about 4 - 8 seconds it will start to choke and if still help down will cut out. Have any of you guys got any ideas on what it could be?
Thanks - crowdie

at wide open throttle(wot).it bogs down?
your too lean on the high speed needle(hsn).your running out of fuel at wot.
back it out 1/4 turn till it runs at wot with a smoke trail and watch your temps.

when your engine seems like its running out of fuel it probably is and your running to lean.

I think he's trying to make you see that the condition your describing is similar to when you run out of fuel....yes?
Meaning that the high speed needle needs adjusting(as above)..just an 1/8 of a turn at a time then run it up and down to see the difference, just always ensure you have a nice trail of smoke.

You got it thats what should happen when you run lean you will have alot of fuel left and run for a long time on a tank. Sorry i should have explained better when your engine seems like its running out of fuel its running lean it doesn't matter how much is in the tank.
