It will work as long as the battery in it is good and even then you can put in a new rechargeable battery .

I suspose that it's ok. Afterall, most glow ignitors are pretty much the same. But at $11 for the ignitor and $8 for shipping, I don't think that you're saving much over buying it from someplace reputable (like Tower or your LHS). Just my opinion though.

^^I'll second that. I don't know whether or not you've got a local hobby shop, but mine carries a Dubro glow igniter with a rechargable sub-c cell and a charger for $19.95. They also carry a Duratrax ignitor that uses a full size C cell so you can use alkalines for backup, and it's under $10 w/o a cell included. Just a thought.

I have a LHS but the cheapest one that is rechargable is $30 and it sucks
