Default "Best" Basher?

Hello all...

I have been driving nitro mini vehicles (1/16 and 1/18) for a while now and I want something with a little more size that can take a beating.
I am looking at the [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXSWM3&P=7]Cen Magnum[/link] and the [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXPGD2&P=ML]Robitronic Protos[/link]. I know these two cars are very different but I would like to see your opinion on the two. I am just going to be bashing and jumping, no racing (terrain from dirt to pavement). Thanks for any info on either of these two cars and please vote.

no reply could be because no one so far would be buying any of the two.

But if that is what you can get within your price range, than the best Basher would be the Magnum.

I have nothing against the Buggy since a buggy is what I have, but buggies are good at bashing but better at racing. The magnum on the other hand is best for bashing.

However these two would not be on my list, but this one would be, http://www.hpiracing.com/products/en/867.html

Dan.

Only 10 more bucks for a real 1/8th truggy...I cannot believe the price keeps coming down. It was an unbelievable bargain when it was 369...this is just crazy...

What do you guys think would make a better basher- 2WD Stadium Truck or a 1/8 nitro buggy?

Where will you be using it?What type of surface?
Personally i'd recommend a Hyper7 (as before) but it depends where you run really.

Mostly in hard pack dirt with some gravel.. Might jump a little.
Every once in a while might hit some rough stuff..
