that WAS NOT A 100 MPH CAR.............that was built but so europen guy and i think its a mugen (not sure) either way 3 motors dont do anything if u dont have the right gearing........the thing only did 81 MPH........and he lsot control and destroyed the car against a wall......i wasnt impressed some of my high speed buggies could give that car a run for its money PLUS i got a HPI super nitro that would blow that car out of the water.......

I like the creativity put into it. My cousin and I are trying to put a .45 or a heli-motor on a T-Maxx (weed wacker wouldn't fit)[sm=lol.gif]

im really suprised at the attitude of the people on this forum. making assumptions without actually knowing the facts. How about people read up on what is quite frankly a very innovative design. I find it impressive anyway. and he only hit 81 because its a prototype. He is still working on the gearbox, and is having plenty of bits fabricated froms scratch. id be willing to bet he knows more about gear ratios, and genral rc than most on this forum. so what if a buggy can go faster? its hardly a original idea whacking a top end motor in a hyper 7 and gearing it high. at least this blokes pushing the boundaries!

if you wanna see whats going on with this and future builds then look on this forum and make you own mind up.

Actually it went 103.xx mph.
I thought it was cool that being a inovative nitro design, and this being a nitro forum.

Actually a weed eater engine can, and has been, made to fit.
Do a search for "maxxgasser" and that should turn it up. It was quite a long thread detailing the build and it was very well done too.

People? I see only one person, who is also famous on this forum for making high speed cars, buggies, whatever, Miamiz and his buddies have several 80mph plus cars of different classes, including a 1/10th HPI nitro car that goes over 100. You'll have to excuse him for being a bit arrogant about it, it's his way and if you knew the forum, you'd know this, he's been around a long time, and knows as much about making cars go fast as anyone, maybe more than this guy, after all, they've always managed it with ONE engine.

The winner...the stock speed of a Kyosho Evolva is 0mph, since it is supplied without an engine. In order for it to do 130kmh (80mph) on the stock gearing, you'd have to find an engine capable of generating power over 50,000rpm. I don't think so.

As above...the three engined car reached a max speed of 103mph!
That car has now been dis-mantled and he's working on another project in a similar vain.
He also made a Kyosho V1RRR do 100mph.
Here's his blog:-

actually it went 88mph and his radio batterys fell out and it crashed into a tent, you would thing the 100"s of dollars going into that car he would invest in a 30$ fail safe especially at those speeds it could really break a ankle or 2... radio control car action november issue....and the fastes was 127.2mph with a shumacher fusion with 2 motors... and a fail safe...

there are some rc dragracers going over 100 mph witha nitro. the most amazing part is that we only have 132 feet to achive this. the fastest ive gone is 104 mph in 1.3 seconds.

A failsafe would not do a thing if the batteries fell out. That's what TRS's are for.

That was the American event. He did 103 in the UK on a seperate occasion. The 127mph fusion was electric powered, so thats quite different.

The three engined nitro car reached a max speed of 103 in the UK speed event, read his blog in my post above.
The car that Nic Case achieved 127 with was electric with one motor!

get ur fact str8 AT THE WORLD AMERICAN FASTEST RC COMPATION IT ONLY WHENT 80 something MPH..........if he did something after that and posted a video i havent seen it.......3 motors in one car isnt squat if you dont gear it right.........i give him props on mounting it and geting working.......that must have bein some hell of a work....but with all that inovation and he didnt think about raiseing the gear ratio???? a stock kyosho evola with 2 or 3 pinion gears extra on the clutch bell can go 70 something MPH easy so ur telling me ir impressed becuase he added 2 motors load of money and only gained 10 MPH or so????..........ive pushed those speeds ON ONE MOTOR........with those 3 motors and the right gearing........i personaly think he could push some where in the area of 150 MPH........but hell never get to that running those 2speeds on each motor

u wanna see 103 MPH run here is my friends HPI RS4 racer 2 running off ONE MOTOR pushing 103 mph......

http://s128.photobucket.com/albums/p...ghSpeedRs4.flv

this is actually his slower one in miami so far he holds the record for fastest RS4 comeing in at 107 MPH......plus weve had a 100+ mph cars for over 6 years now

now do u see why im not really impressed with a 3 motor car only doing 81 MPH...........i would like to talk to the owner of the car to show him how we gear are cars so high so he could do the same or higher.........

im not bashing im probably the most open minded person on this site (i know i came off like a ***** in the first comment but the lack of face to face contact doesnt help me much) i just i thought id let u know why i felt the way i did

Indeed, only a strong throttle return spring will save you in that case. tmaxx_man, better be sure of your facts before making comments like that, lucky Anthoop's a nice guy and let you off.
