I just got my exceed rc buggy. it has a .18 engine. While trying to break it in i had to tweak the needles many times on the first tank. After the first tank the throttle control on the carburetor became stuck! i sprayed wd-40 to loosen it up a bit but it still is too stiff and not like it should be. It almost feels like there is gunk from the fuel or something in there. The throttle wont return to neutral position on its own. Any way i can fix this??
Also: The revs seemed to be high and i had to richen the high speed needle and lower the idle all the way. im not sure about how to adjust the low speed needle switch. any help is appreciated. But i really am worried about my carburetor!

Hard to tell without seeing it in person but it sounds like you may have some foreign matter in the carb. I would suggest removing the carb and doing a clean-out job on it. Have you run it at all without the intake filter? Even with the filter, a small piece of element could have broken loose and lodged in the carb. Cleaning the carb will prevent any "junk" that may be in there from getting in your engine and causing a disaster! Just a thought from your description...

One thing you may want to make note of. When you adjust the idle you want to have the throttle open a bit, this will prevent binding of the thottle body and the idle screw.
