What do all of you think will happen if I took my Mabuchi RS-775WC motor and connected its shaft to a clutch shaft from a .28 Nitro engine and let my motor get up to speed then I let the l .28 Nitro engine rev up to engage the clutch?
I have about a 90% certainty that the Mabuchi motor with its super large amounts of torque would cause a .28 nitro to shut off as soon as it engaged the clutch. The other 10% that maybe the clutch will burn up.
