RE: What was your first rc car??
The HPI Baja SS kit was my first RC car. Who knew you needed a PhD and 15hours just to build the thing. Or a Masters from MIT just to tune the engine[]. I guess Nitro is faster and easier and electric easier still but this thing sounds cool and has good torque and long bashing sessions without refueling. Just bought my seconds RC car the Team Losi Micro T and this car is equally awesome at 1/10 the price. Next up the Speed T.

My first was a Toy.. It was a Lamborghini Countach that had Press and turn in reverse... was sweet...
Then I got something Called the " Dominator" which was a Buggy with a type 380 motor and 12 AA Batteries needed to power it!
Then droppped out of the Hobby for 13 years.. Then got a Tamiya TT-01 for RC Drifting which then expanded to a HBX Bonzer for Offroad, then a HPI Sprint 2 for Drifting/ track racing then my latest edition a Hot bodies Cyclone S for Stock Class racing.

RE: What was your first rc car??
Well.... when I was a young lad.........My first real RC was the Tyco "Grasshoper". My bud at the time got the Tyco "Bandit". My first taste of RC racing and have loved it since. The ones I had before that still ran a cable from car to remote. I dont count thouse as real RCs though. It took many years later for me to be able to aford to really get into it.
