I have three tanks thru my Lst2. The needle settings are stock L.S. 2turns out and H.S. 4 turns out. It starts, but to keep this thing running is almost impossible! The engine keeps floooding, I have to keep pulling the plug and cranking the engine to get the excess fuel out. I warm it up with a blow dryer. I've kept the glow plug ignitor on it, but it just keeps dying. I had it running earlier but when it got up to full throttle it just bogged(plenty of smoke). Can anyone help me with this problem. Thanks.!

I just went out and tried to start it and it worked. But now when I remove the glow ignitor it dies, so I left it on for a couple of min.. When I accelerated just a hair it dies.

You're way too rich.
You can lean the hsn up 1/4 to 1/2 turn to help keep it running. Just make the adjustments in 1/8 turn increments until it gets better. Don't go too far lean but many engines need to be leaned from factory settings during break in.

Re-read the directions for the break-in proceedure, this is very important. At three tanks, are not done yet. I do not have experience with that car/engine, but most any stock setting is VERY rich, sometimes to the point it wont run. Try leaning it out just a hair1/16-1/8 of a turn, and see if you can get it to run long enough to break it in. Keep in mind you want it to run very rich during break in, since the engine is so tight. Also, the plug could be bad, install a new one, just so you rule that out.
You can also do a search on break-in proceedures, there is different methods that some preffer.
Good luck

I did one of the recommended break-ins(idle for two tanks), I idled half of the third tank and just slow figure 8s for the other half. The temp was hard to keep up, but it was at about 210F. I'll lean out the hsn a little, and I did replace the plug.
