Default help with gears plz

hi iam having the hardest time keeping up with people racing in the sportman class iam running a co27 motor with a 110flywheel and 38 spurgear and i need it to go faster if any one knows what i can do to make it faster plz let me know

Keep practicing, the more practice with driving the faster you will be. Stay calm during the entire race and work on making consistent laps first! Also It's a 110 spur and a 38 pinion. Also what car are you running?

besides from consistent laps, you could put a bigger pinion gear and a smaller spur gear. that will get you more speed, but you'll loose some bottom end(take off) speed. you'll need to play around with different combos to see what you like best. also it's nice to have different combos for different tracks

What do you mean by "keeping up", down the straight away, lap times as a whole, exiting corners, etc? What kind of track? What kind of car/truck?
Talk to your local people, I am sure many will be more than happy to help you set your car up. And as said above, pratice will net you faster laptimes. Maybe you need some better batteries, or to freshen up the motor?
