Radio Gear
I am pretty set on getting a Titan arr without radio. It doesnt have reverse, so i only need a 2 channel radio. What AM radio would u reccomend for me, or is FM neccesary? I only want to spend up to 100 bucks for it. What would u reccomend? It would be ok if it came with 1 servo, i dont care what one because it will be for throttle (doesnt really matter). I definately want a high power servo for steering, but are there any good high torqe servos for around 40 bucks?
Ive been looking at tower but there is a lot to choose from, and i dont really know much about radios. Any links to specific items would be greatly appreciated.
So basically what would be a good setup with a high torque (at least 100 oz) steering servo, a throttle servo, and radio? And one more thing, can u mix and match? Or do servos and radios have to be made by the same company to be able to work together.
Thanks in advance!

No FM isn't really isn't a requirement.
For servos here is one with 77 oz/in of torque : http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXN588&P=7
And you can get 95 if you feel you need it for 10 dollars more:

This is a good radio for a good price, it only has one servo: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXASX6**&P=7

Would these be compatible?

I don't know if I would get an AM if I were you
I ran Am for along time and ONE BIG hit and my buggy was dust
You re spending big money on a BIG truck that goes fast and has lot of expensive parts
You can get a fm radio for $100 or so and a JR 645 high torque servo for $40
So lets say you pay $150 for an FM radio and servo
You are talking like $70 bucks anyway for AM
and 1 crash will cost you the same as you would have spent for the FM
Oh yea and you wont run over the cat next door
So in the interest of down time and pets go FM
I have a JR fm and a 645 servo and have NO hits EVER
So hope that helps

130oz/in of torque is alot, is the titan a monster truck? The only time you would want something with that much torque is a high speed monster truck, but I guess it wouldn't hurt even if it wasn't.
