Default Go-Karts ?

Hello, I'm trying to find a nitro Go-Kart. The only one I've seen so far is on ebay. If anyone can check it out with me, I would appreciate it.
One problem is available parts ?

Do any of you know where to get information on RC Go-Karts ?

I also want to research 1/4 scale or smaller sprint cars. Any advise on brands, sites ect., will also be appreciated.

Thank you,
427HISS

Both are electric, they don't turn my crank. I need the power & sound of nitro or gas !

If you're willing to give a lot of work and money, you might be able to convert one to nitro.

What do you guys think ?

.10 motor (for a 1/4 scale) ?
Rigid suspension ? (but I believe the 1/3 scale is also rigid)
No radio/electronics/starter (although it states it has a recoil starter, so....) ?
Are all the parts plastic, including the frame ?

$530 ?

Compared to the other kart on ebay ? (photo on my 1st post)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...230220362410&s

Which is a better kart ?

I appreciate the info guys.

The thing is that even both karts are no longer made, I still think you'll have better luck getting spares for the Kyosho. However, if you are crafty and can make your own parts, the Go 'N Play kart may be a better deal.
Also keep in mind that a 1/4 or 1/3 scale kart still isn't very big. Probably about the same size as the typical 1/10th scale ST, if I remember correctly.

RCUSEE- you said cheaper, did you find any prices ?
I can't see clearly what the web-site is ?
Is Carson Model Sport the brand or just a racing team ?
I searched Carson but it's a German company. I wonder if they have a USA dealer ?

On what I assume is the dealer's list, if you click on "DICKIE-TAMIYA", near the bottom of the page is quotes this- New! English CARSON-MODEL SPORT catalogue. 160 pages of facts and figures. N° 909036

But I don't see anything to show where ?

Looks cool !
Help !!

Carson is a German company. Excellent quality, but it's products are hard to find and when you can find them, they're extremely expensive.

I called a teck person at Tamiya. Like you said, it's a Carson product, not made by Tamiya.
I would still like to get a hold of Carson, just don't know how ?

size is 1:4
cost will be around 125€ i guess, if you have to import maybe around 200$ or less

in germany every third rc driver has a carson, they are great starter cars , i had one too
to the guy who said carson is expensive, no its not
but the cars you see arent produced by carson they only put their name on it... maybe youll be lucky enough to find the original if there is, for cheap

General- you still on live ? I don't see anything about Carson or RC products ?

RCUSEE- I know what your talking about. I can't read German. I may have to give up, getting frustrated ! [:@]

Also RCUSEE, what is the price of the "first Remm Kart 2008 RTR, in American dollars ?

This message below is a guy (assume from Germany) about the cost in American dollars.

"i guess its somewhere around 150-200$ its not yet in the stores, atleast i couldnt find one"

$200 for that Kart ? I must be understanding.
