I was planning on an electric losi xxx t RTR, then I came across an ofna Ultra LX Pro, for just a little bit more. Heres the Question. What all do I need for a gas car? why do I need batteries, and how big must they be? 7.2? Please help.

assuming your buy a kit that doesnt include everything
(some kits on ebay and at towerhobbies has these items
included)
in a ready to run kit the only things you will need are:
a glow plug ignitor/starter
heres an example
AA batteries ....most use 8 in the radio and 4 inside the car.
and fuel

yah I've recently found out that a nitro engine can start while being off... lol I won't go into this accident
anyways yah if your new to RC, RTR would give you everything you need but fuel and batteries. Most come witha pull starter or a electric starter. Nitro is also a lot cheaper overall than electric.
