Default pull start

My pull start has locked up/ failed... so i decided to pull it apart to see if i could fix it...

on taking off the screw the whole thing exploded.. great... bits everywhere..

now my question is... i've found the coil, string and the main plastic unit and a spring... am i missing anything else... i got the pul start working again but putting it on is going to be a problem... as i'm not sure where the spring goes.. and i think i'm missing a piece of metal.. so when i pull the start it turns the motor over...

can anyone help.. please... i'm a desperate man... lol

i think the spring goes in the hole, in the center of where the coil raps round...

yes the spring go in the hole, it should hold the thingy that the rope goes around away from the other thingy. Sorry don't really know how to explain it. Jon
