Ok I have been researching for a long time, and I know what i want but I cannot afford it. I'm a college student and I have been out of nitro cars for about 2 years. I never have had a 1/8 before but I think I would like one. I have been offered a few good deals I believe. BUT I NEED YOUR HELP
I know I'm a newbie to the forums, but I have spent countless hours reading all over the forums. i have owned over 14 nitro cars too.

Here they are"The buggy is a Ofna Ultra Worlds II in great condition. It has a O.S. Max .21 RG engine. I am also including a hi-torque steering servo and throttle servo. The only thing I do not have is a body for it. I am also including 1 set of extra tires and 2 servos. I also upgraded to the front pivot ball susp. If you are interested in RTR I have a Hi-Tec Lynx 3D digital FM 3 channel radio. I will do the buggy with no radio for $200 +shipping (approx. $15-$20 becase of weight) or $300 +shipping with radio."

KYOSHO MP6 INTERNATIONAL! You won’t find many of these in this shape, the MP6 International is regarded by many as one of the best handling 1/8 scale buggies ever produced. I bought this buggy about 2 years ago but only ran it TWICE (2 days) at the “local” track that isn’t so local to me. I have decided to stick with RC airplanes. The chassis itself is in good condition and has limited run time on it considering its age, the racer I bought it from only used this as a back-up and was meticulous in maintenance. The engine, a TOP quality Pico, runs perfect and is basically brand new, it has only 10 very rich tanks though it, and starts on the first or second “blip” of the engine. The pipe is an RB Concepts with the black finish taken off and polished. All three differentials have been rebuilt and are filled at the CORRECT levels with the right weight fluid, NO LEAKS! Brand new Crime Fighter tires and an extra set of rims and tires included. Very fast, blows the doors off many other buggies at the track and has the handling to match. Perfectly balanced on the jumps and is tuned well for the average dirt track. Decent quality ball bearing high torque servos that perform better than I had expected, you may not even want to replace them unless you’re looking for really fast response. Nice Futaba Magnum Junior radio (w/receiver) has all the trim adjustments you will need, radio was bought when I got the buggy so it was only used for 2 days (Radio still in the box mod# T2PHKA). Lots of aluminum, a hard anodized chassis, titanium suspension parts, the list goes on and on. Starter box included with a Sullivan high torque motor inside and custom side power switch, also comes with an extra new starter wheel and quite a few extras not shown in the pictures.
please tell me what you think.
Please don't flame on me, I have tried to figure out which is best, but I'm not sure.
I'm at college and I like to work on stuff, but the closest track is 1 hour away. I want a good handling one I car run at the tarck and have fun with. But I also like stuff tough.(I was a big T-maxx guy)
for some reason the 1/8 scale buggys have really appealed to me.

An old kyosho is better than most of the new buggys out today, the quality and workmanship is unmatched. Kyosho is heavily into high end racing and the R&D deparment work hard to keep there products in the winners cirlcle. Sounds like you might want to race, if so your best bet would be the 7.5 inferno but the mp6 would be great too, parts are still avilable.

i really recommend a (SINYIH TOPSPEED) check them out at symodels .com . they may look cheap but have ofna force .21 engines in them and are very fast. the original shell is not exactly cool so i recomend ROBS********* .COM) then you can paint the body yourself... they are a great buggy and are really durable and fast i have one they are indistructable and very very cheap

i would go with one of the ofnas you listed and prolly the hyper 7 cause of all the extras you get.
sure a kyosho sounds good, but thats an old buggy and parts will soon be tough to find. with that one your just getting someone elses headache.
get yourself a GS Storm

Kyosho buggys are not hard to find parts for at all, they are the easiest. If you want some serious headaches buy an ofna, I had one and never even got through one whole day with out something breaking. Storms arent much better, if you want quality you have to pay for it so dont cheap out get the kyosho. Force engines suck, they are the worst made and have seen some that didnt last through 3 gallons of fuel, probably cause they run good only over 300F.

MP6?
dude that thing is prolly 3 years old and been around the block. parts are just going to get more rare.
i dont like ofna either. my lhs loves ofna though and parts ar abundant.
add that to your choice...whats your lhs carry?
you say storms arent much better at breaking parts?
no one is harder on r/c cars than i am. in the 3/4 gallon ive used since i had my storm i havent broken anything yet, and dude im like evil kinevil with my rides.
the force engines might not be good, but the Hyper .21 8 port ($125) is a nice strong engine for the price.
and if you havent notice kyosho puts GS motors in their rtrs.
sure kyosho is great and a winner, but he cant afford one. i cant either, so i went with a storm.
im not being biased, i saying which one id buy out of the ones he listed.

Pack, I hear ya. Storms are decent buggys as are ofnas but they arent even in the same league as even the MP6. I havent personnally owned a Storm but have had buddies that ran them and they now all run Mugen or Kyosho. If your happy with your buggys thats all that matters and glad to hear that but for top end racing or even club racing the storm falls way short in a lot of catagories. Didnt mean to piss you off, just stating my opinion. I also own an 8 port .21 and its good for what Im using it for, a nitro MT .21 conversion and if it lasts through 3 gallons that will be great. Im not sure but the 8 port is not a force engine although most ofna buggies do use the force engines.

Mugen is a good choice, they are made of very high quality parts and are also one of the best for handling and jumping next to Kyosho.

GOOD CHOICE! i my self have a MBX-4 and its great so far, nice all around buggy and race winining design.
i would suggest one upgrade to cosider is the Ti steering bridge by Hardcore Racing because theres some play in it
except my LHS isint big on mugen so i have to stockpile parts so i dont have to wait a week or two before i get what i need (not saying the parts break easy ima noob to 1/8 and havnt brok 1 part yet)
