Is it just me or are there like 10 people in the state with RC cars?If anyone around here knows of races or a good hobby shop let me know.

They are around I just don't know of any up in Gainsville.....

Haha,...well I might be the only one.there used to be 2 shops around but they're both gone now.I'll keep lookin,thanks man.If anything big happens in Tampa post it and I'll try to get down there.

well, look in RC Car Action for some...id look for some, but i have to go downstairs...theres some track guides online too. i live down in Orlando area, and Superior Hobbies is a big hobby shop down here.

There will be a new Hobby/Race Track Shop opening soon in the Maitland area at 17-92. I have gone by a few times and they just started building the place. I guess it will be up and ready in about a month or two, but I guess it is worth the wait!

i live down in miami....theres hobby shops everywhere (but i guess that dosent help cause your all up north)

There is a whole forum at the RC Tech board of Florida racing. All Florida racers should check it out.

I go there for the airplane stuff, but Ive noticed they have
alot for cars/trucks.

i live in florida, south florida.. you can see RC Hobbies, the biggest RC Shop (not only cars...) in south florida.. I got my TC3 there and their support is AMAZING! They also have many offroad cars, not too many onroad, and ALOT of parts!!!!! too many bodies, also! theres like 3 whole shelves (they go across half the store) and.. lol Only $20 for all of them.. better than some of those $25 and more prices lol..

well yeah, RC Hobbies is great and then a track is right near one of the schools near me near RC Hobbies lol. Its got groups for novices, ametures, and all the differenct ones and stuffs lol

yeah hobby world is a pretty good shop. nothing compaired to graves r/c though. that is probably the best shop i have been in so far. i want to go to Superior Hobbies. how's that shop Marines? is it pretty far away from graves?

I cant compare it to other hobby shops...but I believe its bigger than most. It has lots of stuff...any part broken on my TC3..they always have them in stock. Superior has a knoledgable and friendly staff too. They have had ads in RCCA a few times.

There is a track in seffner and a track in dover. The one in seffner is nitro only, and the one in dover is night racing until 11pm. If you go to hobbytown they will tell you were there are some close tracks.

I'll check that one out in Ocala and maybe Jax...no drivin across town for a part though,haha.So far Tower has been my only source.

I'm in central FL Lakeland to be excact. we have like 3 hobby shops in this city. I mostly order my stuff directly from the factory though.

I am here in Orlando FL and our scene here is amazing!

I run an NTC3 and a RC10GT, also a Storm Pro.

Every thursday night we have a meet were we set up cones in a parking lot - about 20 nitro cars will show up - its a blast!

Once a month - Superior hobbies sets up a great track and holds sanctioned races!

Every thursday for the electric folks - TQ hobbies has a permanent on road track.

Every Sunday we also get together at the largest offroad track in the southeast US here in Osceola County and have races.

Thats pretty sweet...another reason I should move to O-town,haha.Glad to hear its big there and if I ever head that way I'll pm you.
