Default Difference between Normal and Turbo engines?

I'll take a shot at it.

Turbo engines usually have a modified crank to allow a better mix and mainly, the glow plug is tapered to reduce the compression area.
Turbo motors usually are ported and are typically high performance high cost motors.
Turbo glow plugs are different and are expensive.

You can expect a 10-20% increase in performance from a turbo version for about a 25% price increase... so just go get a better motor and skip the turbo!

My unprofessional take on it... since no one replied!
