I have had two JR FM radio's for most of the time I have been in this hobby. I just recently got a Spectrum radio because I didn't want any conflicts while traveling with my 8ight. This last weekend at one of my races, I won a new SR3500 micro receiver.
First of all, this thing is freakishly small. I'm afraid I'm going to break it by holding it. Making so many changes with my radio equipment has made me a little worried. Is anyone using this receiver? The 3 inch antenna has me a little concerned. I supposedly don't even need an antenna tube. I can just leave it in my receiver box. How cool is that?
I could use it in my 8ight to free up some space in the receiver box, or I could put it in my mini-t and use it on my backyard track. Hmmm...
Check it out next to my JRRS300, Novak XXL, and Spectrum SR3000. I had to buy the Novak XXL because it was the only thing that would fit in my rc18 with the mamba motor, and the hs65mg servo.

The funny part is that there is wasted space in it's case. If they could make the chip smaller, it would be half the size. That would be the absolute smallest they could make one. Then we will get wireless servos and stuff like that.
